Back to Basics
Over the last month or so, I have been removing stuff on my car to bring it back to stock. So, the quad pipes are gone. In its place is the original single tail-pipe exhaust. The 18" ROH Modena staggered rims have been replaced by 19" Tecnomagnesio magnesium rims, all fitted with 245 tyres all round. I even put back the original blue and white propellar badges instead of the carbon fibre ones. Externally, the car no longer draws a second look. It looks just like any other ordinary E39 5 series. What is the purpose of this whole exercise? Stay tuned and you will soon find out.
